About

The Master's Course in Applied Economics (CMEA) has an area of ​​concentration in Economic Development and three lines of research: 1) Applied Economics; 2) Development economics; and 3) Innovation, institutions and competitiveness. Currently, the program has a faculty formed by 10 permanent professors, who develop several research projects around economic development, with particular interest in the Northeast Region and in the state of Alagoas.

Our mission:

▸Training and holding Masters in Economics stricto sensu, promoting the improvement of high-level professionals focused on teaching, research and specialized activities of high standard in higher education institutions, organizations and public and private companies.

What we do?

▸We provide a solid and plural training in general, theoretical, applied and historical economics.

Who do we do it for?

▸Graduates in any area, holders of an undergraduate degree recognized by the MEC, with an interest in expanding their knowledge of economics and learning tools for analyzing the dynamics, structures and socioeconomic processes, whether through theoretical or quantitative models.
